Jen (Manager / Cosmetologist)
Jen is a dedicated and passionate hairstylist with 14 years of experience under her belt! As the manager of the Boise shop, her dedication to creating a positive atmosphere not only for her team but also for her clients speaks volumes about her leadership skills and passion for her craft. Her expertise in delivering perfect cuts, especially her favorite scissor cuts and tapered necklines, surely sets a high standard at the barbershop. Outside of work, Jen leads a busy and fulfilling life with her husband Tony and their 4 teenagers. Being outdoors and supporting them in Rugby and Softball keeps weekends crazy and enjoyable. Her love for summer and being active fits perfectly with her vibrant personality. With Jen at the helm, Bolder Barbershop is surely a place where clients not only get great haircuts but also feel welcomed and valued.
Sam (Barber / Cosmetologist)
Sam has 15 years of experience as a cosmetologist and barber, specializing in men's short to medium haircuts, bald fades, grey blending, waxing, beard detailing, hair designs, and sharp line work. Outside the shop, she's a dedicated mom of two girls who enjoys adventures, cars, music, travel, animals, and food. Sam focuses on providing a great experience and making sure every client leaves looking sharp and feeling confident.
Trey (Barber)
Trey is a proud Idaho native, having lived in the state for 25 years. He earned his barbering license from Boise Barber College in 2018 and has been cutting hair for three years. Trey is passionate about growing his skills and continually perfecting his craft. Outside of barbering, he enjoys working on anything "tech related" and is an avid gamer. Trey also has a deep love for the outdoors, making the most of Idaho's natural beauty.
Three years ago, he married his wife, who has been his greatest inspiration. She motivates him to strive for personal growth and helps him become the person he aspires to be.
Stephanie (Barber)
With 14 years' experience and Bolder Barbershop's unique atmosphere and vibe, Stephanie is able to showcase her expertise in popular trends, detailed beard work and precision cuts, keeping her clients coming back for more. Having lived in places like Olympia, WA and now Idaho, she enjoys traveling to different cities looking for new places to go camping, fishing, hot springs or just enjoying a drive around the mountains. Stephanie has a community minded confidence building attitude, her goal is to help clients feel confident in their appearance and leave the chair looking sharp and feeling better.
Sarah (Barber)
Sarah has been cutting hair for 7 years, blending skill and creativity to give every client a fresh, confidence-boosting look. When she’s not behind the chair, she’s all about outdoor adventures with her family—paddle boarding, camping, and soaking up nature whenever she can. She also has a passion for baking, always whipping up something sweet when she’s off the clock.

Jasmin (Barber)
Meet Jasmin! With 10 years of experience behind the chair, Jasmin loves creating fresh fades and helping clients look their best at Bolder Barbershop. Outside the shop, she’s an artist who enters her work in the fair every year, enjoys playing disc golf, and loves going to concerts with her wide range of musical tastes. When she’s not creating art or catching a hockey game, you can find her spending time with her dog, Ace, or dreaming of her happy place—the beach!
Leslie (Lead Receptionist)
Leslie has been the perfect “stay at home mom and wife” for the past two years, but recently decided to rejoin the workforce. She’s a mom of five children; 4 boys and a girl. As their biggest supporter and cheerleader, she spends most days attending their sports and other extracurricular activities.
When she finds the time, she loves traveling to the Oregon Coast, or McCall. Their family enjoys camping and swimming as well as occasional “dance parties” with the kids!
Chris - Receptionist
Meet Chris, our receptionist at Bolder Barbershop. Chris is a 17-year-old student at Meridian High School who brings great energy and a friendly attitude to the shop every day. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, listening to R&B music, and keeping up with the latest fashion and style trends. When he’s not at school or work, you’ll likely find him spending quality time with his girlfriend. Chris is hardworking, personable, and always ready to help make your experience at Bolder Barbershop a great one.
